REIKO LIM

Reiko is a graduate from LASALLE College of the Arts with a Diploma in Dance and has teaching experience in various dance styles including Jazz, Classical Ballet and Acrobatics.

During her time at LASALLE, she was awarded the prestigious Wu Pei Hui Award and also had the opportunity to work with prominent dance choreographers and coaches such as Melissa Quek, Susan Yueng, Scrach Marcs, Goh Xiang Tian, Charmaine Tay, Yarra Illeto, Marcus Foo and Andy Benjamin Cai among others.

Reiko is a certified Progressive Ballet Technique (PBT) teacher, and her rich experience with various international dance syllabi include having achieved Classical Ballet, Jazz and Tap Grades under the Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing (CSTD) as well as the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) examination syllabi.

Reiko has been actively participating in local and international dance competitions since 2014. Notable awards include clinching Gold Awards for her Tap solos and Jazz Solos at the Asia Arts Festival (2022, 2021). Additionally, she attained first place at the Get the Beat International Dance competition (2016) where she also finished Top 10 in her age group category.

Driven by her passion to educate the next generation of dancers, Reiko is also constantly on the look out for new experiences that will enrich her dance practice and enhance the knowledge she could pass on to her students.
